Kittyhawks are nominated by their teachers throughout the school year when they make improvements, do something kind or show great abilities. Students’ names are submitted and an invitation is sent home with the student. Each Friday, students will be recognized as the “Take Flight” Student of the Week for their classroom along with their peers during an award ceremony where they are presented with a certificate, a pin and a pennant. Students are celebrated by their fellow peers and parents.
By the end of the year, we strive at giving each student an opportunity to be presented as a Take Flight Student.
