1. Budget Review

Final landtrust waiting for approval. School fund for this year is $6,000 less due to smaller student numbers. Sub teacher fund is planned to be used to send our teachers to a conference. Money in computer equipment is hopefully for another lab and then start replacing old technology.

2. Discipline Data

Much bettertrajectory than last year. So far only 18 office referrals. As usual most occur during recesses. Majority are K-2. All but one was a boy. Most common incidents are for aggression, biting and bullying

3. School Safety Plan

Drills planned for every month. Lock down was last month. Good to do to check on all the doors and see if there are any trouble spots. Bomb threat/ evacuation will be next months drill

4.Cell Tower Money Permission

We get 10% of the 10% from cell tower money. Magann asked for approval for this money to be used for teacher incentives. Board approved

5. Other

Lisa wanted to talked about our reading program and incentives in school. Discussed importance of helping kids get out of red and yellow areas. Also talked about how extra scholastic dollars could maybe be used to buy books for kids that many not have some. Discussed summer check out of books for kids that may not have access to library and reading in general for summer.
