Hi! My name is Wendy Westwood. I grew up in a small town in Utah named Circleville. My dad is a dairy farmer, so I grew up working on a farm! I graduated from Piute High School, then attended SUU where I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. Fun fact, both my high school and college mascots were T-birds! I’ve taught third grade, fourth grade, and now I’m loving teaching second grade! This will be my 9th year teaching second grade here at Altara! When I’m not at school I enjoy traveling. My goal is to see all 50 states! I have 4 left to see. I absolutely love all things beach related! I also enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and puppies! You can also catch me watching, or cheering on my favorite sports teams. Go Jazz! I’m a lover of Diet Coke, salt and vinegar chips, and chocolate! I am friendly and approachable. I’m excited for this new school year/adventure! This year will be filled with lots of fun and learning!
