Hello, I am Elena Lascorz and I am from Spain. I was born and raised in Tarragona (Catalonia) a city on the northeastern coast of Spain, very close to Barcelona. This is my second year teaching 4th grade DLI at Altara Elementary but I have more than 15 years of teaching experience in Spain. This is also my second time teaching in the US because I lived in Louisiana for three years. I am here with my husband and my two kids: Núria who is a sophomore at Alta High and Àlex who is a 7th grader at Mount Jordan Middle. I enjoy taking care of my cacti and plants and doing some crochet as well. We as a family love to travel, to hike and visit as many places as we can during the school breaks.
