Grit
Last week, Ms. Fielding read a short book to all the classrooms about what happened to Humpty Dumpty after the fall. We talked about grit and how to stick with something even though it’s hard. We hope our students can show grit this year as they work hard to learn!
No dogs on campus
A new district policy restricts dogs on campus at any time, even after school hours. Signs will be posted soon around our campus. Thanks for helping keep our campus clean and safe.
Parking lot
Thanks for your patience in our drop off/pick up lanes. It’s been going great! Here’s a couple of reminders:
- Students can’t cross our parking lot without an adult. There are no crosswalks or safety patrol in the parking lot, and there are lots of cars coming and going.
- Please don’t drop off students in the day care bus/van drop off spot. Find a spot to park or come through the drop off lane.
- If you park in the north parking lot, please cross only at the crosswalks.
Attendance
Research suggests that students who attend at a rate of 95% or better are significantly less likely to have failing grades or problematic behavior. Every day counts!
