♥️Choose Kindness
We have the KINDEST students!
We are on the lookout for any acts of kindness at Altara. Here are some examples of kindness happening at our school these past few weeks:
-Grant Keys (1st grade) Grant gave up his beanbag during reading groups to a friend who was upset he didn’t get one.
-Blake Layne (3rd grade) Blake is a kind friend who always helps his classmate find his book and page. He helps him be a better student.
-Aspyn George (kindergarten) Aspyn is such a kind friend! She is always so sweet to others and says thoughtful things. Keep up the kindness, Aspyn!
-Lily Harding (kindergarten) Lily is the best at cleaning up after centers. She always helps her teacher put the supplies away.
-Halima Aden (2nd grade) Halima is always kind and helpful to her table partners. Thanks, Halima!
-Penelope Chaidez (2nd grade) Penelope sets an excellent example for our class about how to always be kind to others.
🚗Parking Lot Reminder
Thank you for all your support and patience in our drop-off, pick-up, parking lot area. We appreciate you! We have noticed a handful of adults/families are crossing at the east end of the drop-off lane. We just want to remind you that there is no crosswalk at the east end. If you are parking in the north parking lot, please walk to the middle of the parking lot and cross only at the main crosswalk in front of the school. Thanks for being mindful of our students’ safety
