If you feel a tug of compassion today or any day this week for any reason, act on that feeling by offering kindness. Parent Teacher Conferences & Appointments on SkywardThe final round of parent teacher conferences will be held at the end of this month on Tuesday, February 24 and Wednesday February 25, 2026. We look forward to seeing families and celebrating the growth and progress our students at Altara are doing!Our wonderful secretary, Wendi, sent out information on how you can sign up for conference times. Please refer to her 2/3/2026 Parent Square message where she has directions on how to sign up. February Early Out DaysParents, we have 2 early out days in February. This is slightly unusual since traditionally we only have them the week of Parent Teacher Conferences. Please plan accordingly for these TWO days in February: -Thursday, February 12, 2026 school will dismiss at 1:25 pm (THIS THURSDAY!)-Thursday, February 26, 2026 school will also dismiss at 1:25 pm ♥️ Choose Kindness ♥️We have the KINDEST students!We are on the lookout for extraordinary acts of kindness at Altara. Here are some examples of kindness happening at our school:Uriah Gasologa (2nd grade) Uriah was very kind and friendly to our new student! Thanks, Uriah!William Anderson (3rd grade) William made my day today when he wrote a kind note and handed it to me!Houston Griepenstroh (2nd grade) Houston is always willing to share her flavored water & snacks with others.Esther Mendenhall (kindergarten) Esther is so kind in class by being on task, always listening and following directions. She is always looking for ways to help her teacher and classmates.Brooklyn Vogeler (3rd grade) Brooklyn rushed to a friend’s rescue when a tote tray was tipped and the contents spilled out onto the floor.Lukas Hatch (3rd grade) Lukas noticed that 2 students were in the middle of an argument. He helped solve the problem and came up with a great solution. Altara Yearbook 2025-2026New this year!!! Altara will be offering yearbooks full of grade level/class pictures and all the other fun activities that we have here at Altara during the school year.
