The final round of parent teacher conferences will be held next week on Tuesday, February 24 and Wednesday February 25, 2026.
Please reach out to your student’s teacher if you need to schedule an appointment.

Helping Your Kids Deal with Digital Drama

We have the KINDEST students!
We are on the lookout for extraordinary acts of kindness at Altara. Here are some examples of kindness happening at our school:
Averie Hatch (2nd grade) Averie shows kindness by offering to be a partner with someone who does not have one.
Elsie Hatch (2nd grade) Elsie shows kindness by playing and being friends with everyone.
Blake Layne (3rd grade) Blake saw a friend that needed help with his papers and finding the right page in his book. He jumped to the rescue and immediately helped his friend.
Kamri Organ (3rd grade) Kamri gave a much needed hug to a friend who was feeling frustrated and sad.
Jaxon Boyce (5th grade) Jaxon has been actively looking for ways to help in the classroom. He is quick to jump up and lend a hand to others!
Altara Yearbook 2025-2026
New this year!!! Altara will be offering yearbooks full of grade level/class pictures and all the other fun activities that we have here at Altara during the school year. If you’re interested in ordering a yearbook for your student go to https://purchaseyearbook.com/.
The Yearbook Code is: AltaraESYB26. Pre-sale price is $22.00 and orders must be submitted by February 26, 2026. The regular price will be $25.00 and orders must be placed no later than March 25, 2026. After that date no orders will be accepted so make sure to order early!!

Book fair is coming! We will be hosting the Scholastic Book Fair in conjunction with Parent Teacher Conferences. Book fair hours will be from 3:15-7:00 pm on Tuesday February 24th & Wednesday February 25th.
