Final Fundraiser Results
Thank you to our amazing Altara school Community for all of your generous donations and support for our school fundraiser! With your help we were able to collect $7,871.27 this year! Our students will be able to participate in field trips and educational experiences throughout the year using these charitable funds! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Liquid Filled Fidgets
Liquid-filled toys and squishies are not allowed at Altara Elementary. These items can break or leak, creating messes and disrupting the learning environment. If your student needs a sensory tool, please send them to school with ones that are not liquid filled. Please help your child check their backpack and keep these items at home. Thank you for your support!
β₯οΈ Choose Kindness β₯οΈ
We have the KINDEST students!
We are always on the lookout for extraordinary acts of kindness at Altara.
Here are some examples of kindness happening at our school:
Sersha Smith (kindergarten) Sersha chooses kindness every day! She is always looking for ways to help others. She helps others understand directions, clean up, and feel good about themselves.
Miguel Soares (5th grade) Always picking up garbage in the lunch room.
Avery Watson (4th grade) Avery was very kind to organize student books for me. She did it without me asking!
Steven Green (4th grade) Steven kindly helped other students research their bird reports.
Autumn Smith (5th grade) Autumn volunteered to work with a classmate outside of her assigned group to make sure everyone was included.
Isla Fullmer (5th grade) Isla cleaned & tidied up our classroom cushions without being asked. She helps our classroom look nice!
Reminder
This week we only have school Monday-Wednesday! Enjoy your fall break!
