It has been wonderful welcoming our students back to our school campus today. We truly missed their smiles, energy, and presence, and it has been great seeing them reconnect with friends and staff as we kick off the remainder of the school year. We’re excited for all that’s ahead and look forward to continuing this journey together.

We have the KINDEST students!
We are on the lookout for extraordinary acts of kindness at Altara. Here are some examples of kindness happening at our school last year:
Sam Gleason (2nd grade) Sam does a great job cheering at the successes of the people around him. Way to go, Sam!
Jessi Johnston (1st grade) Jessi helped another student with their Write the Room exercise.
Caiden Neumann (kindergarten) Caiden is kind by sharing his knowledge and excitement about things. He brought a cool Geode rock to school so our class could see and study it.
Reed Christensen (kindergarten) Reed loves to help his friends spell words when making books. He has excellent skills when working with others.
Elia Ahadi (kindergarten) Elia is such a kind friend! She uses kind words with others and makes great choices! Keep up the great work!

We’re reaching out to our Altara community to get a head start on silent auction donations for our PTA fundraiser (this May!!) and would love your support!
Any local donations—such as goods, services, or gift cards— will be featured in our silent auction, with proceeds going directly toward programs and activities that enrich learning and bring our school together. Your generosity, big or small, helps us plan ahead and create meaningful experiences for our students. Thank you for considering supporting our school!
