Glow Gallery Art Show
There will be a Glow Gallery Art Show open house during parent teacher conferences this week. The art room is just off the gym, where the Book Fair is located. Take a few minutes to go see what our students have been working on!

America250 Writing Contest (Grades 5, 8, 9-12)
Help celebrate America’s upcoming 250th anniversary! All Utah students in Grades 5th, 8th and 9th–12th are invited to enter the America250 Utah Essay and Art Contest. This is a fantastic chance for students to showcase their creativity and civic pride.
- Categories: Original Essay or Original Artwork.
- Prizes: Winners will receive scholarships and have their work featured at the Utah State Capitol!
- Notification: Winners and finalists will be notified in June 2026 via the parent email address provided.
- Note: Students under 18 should complete the form with a parent or guardian.

Millie Brunhart (4th grade) Millie wrote me a kind note and it made my day better.
Bennett Manwaring (3rd grade) Bennett is always willing to help classmates. He teaches other students some words in Spanish to help them express ideas.
Devyn Bell (3rd grade) Devyn is a kind friend and a classmate. She is patient with others and loves to cooperate and help others to succeed.
Hattie Evans (2nd grade) Hattie is consistently respectful and cheerful to the people around her.

TOMORROW! Book fair hours will be from 3:15-7:00 pm on Tuesday February 24th & Wednesday February 25th.
🎪Silent Auction Donations
We’re reaching out to our Altara community to get a head start on silent auction donations for our PTA fundraiser (this May!!) and would love your support!
Any local donations—such as goods, services, or gift cards— will be featured in our silent auction, with proceeds going directly toward programs and activities that enrich learning and bring our school together. Your generosity, big or small, helps us plan ahead and create meaningful experiences for our students. Thank you for considering supporting our school!
