Thank you for supporting our teachers last week for Teacher Appreciation Week! We have an awesome community as well as an awesome PTA. Thank you for all the thoughtful things done for our staff!
Staffing for Next Year
We have an additional administrator coming to Altara next school year. Sara Caldwell will be joining us as an Assistant Principal. She is currently an assistant principal at Midvale Elementary. We are excited to have her at our school!
Choose Kindness
We are on the lookout for any acts of kindness at Altara.
Truman Burr (4th grade) Truman always puts the chairs away without anyone asking him to.
Evan Poch (4th grade) Evan helped Eldon look for his jacket.
Dajonna Hamilton (3rd grade) Dajonna is consistently so kind and supportive to peers and adults. She always says “hello” and asks others how they are doing. You are so kind, Dajonna! We are thankful for you!

Thanks to everyone who supported our Carnival Fundraiser! To celebrate, we’re hosting a Reward Party at Classic Fun Center – Sandy on Wednesday, May 22nd, from 5:00–8:30 PM.
