Lockdown Drill
Every month we practice an emergency drill so we know what to do in case of a true emergency. Last week we practiced a Lockdown Drill. The students did a great job. Our drill in August was a Fire Drill, and we evacuated as well.
Fundraiser Information
We’re excited to announce a Fun Run on October 17th to help raise funds for our upcoming field trips! We kindly ask families to help us by collecting donations. Contributions can be made by cash, check, or by scanning the QR code provided. Please make checks payable to Altara Elementary.
Every dollar/100% of the proceeds goes to our school and towards making field trips fun and memorable for our students. Our goal is to raise $10,000!
Please look for the fundraiser envelope and information coming home with your student today!
We will also have a table set up at Parent Teacher Conferences today and tomorrow with information and an opportunity for your family to donate!
You are welcome to send donations anytime between now and October 17th.

Don’t forget parent teacher conferences are this week today, September 22 and tomorrow September 23. Thursday will be an early dismissal day, so remember to pick up your child at 1:25
