    2. Approve January’s Meeting Minutes

    •  Approved unanimously by all members present

    3. PTA News

    • Spirit Night @ Cafe Rio Feb. 16th

    • Kindness Week next week Feb. 13-17th

    • Fundraiser at the end of April

    4. Principal News

    • Parking Lot- closed east parking lot and it has been so much better.

    • Make sure patrol at crosswalk is not facing the mountains, but facing the cars so people can see him/her

    • Live kinder orientation happening second week in April. 60 kinder kids registered already.

    • Does not want more portables to be installed, so we will have to have 1-2 preschool classes leave. Need a new 5th grade room and possibly another kinder room.

    5. Budgets

    • Thanks to some creative and early problem solving by our awesome principal, our budgets are on track for the year.

    6. Teacher of the Year

    • All nominations are in.  Decision will be finalized by Principal Magann, SCC chair, and Head Secretary.

    7. Final Report

    • Final report for last year was recently submitted.

    • All grades met their goal except for kindergarten.

    8. Mid-Year Testing

    • Growth this year is out pacing last year- starting to get numbers that look like pre-covid years.

    • Growth goal is 70%

    • 3rd grade is on benchmark, but need to focus on growth with kids that are already on benchmark. 3rd typically sees a drop in scores in winter, but picks back up in spring

    9. TSSA Plan (Beginning Discussion)

    • Social worker is wonderful and super helpful

    • Interventionists are really making a difference

    • Behavior aides are also critical
