SCC Chair/ Vice Chair Elections

  • Elected Rochelle as Chair- she will pick Secretary
  • Elected Michelle Erb as Vice Chair

Principal News

  • Learning for Life- have leadership activities, tied into curriculum, opportunity to learn outside of the classroom
  • Green Ribbon Month- pedestrian and bike safety. It is a statewide program. Some of our kids have won bikes and scooters from participating before. Kids will receive green ribbons to wear and can do activities.

  • Red Ribbon Week is the last week of October- PTA will discuss
  • Halloween Celebration will take place the Friday before Halloween
  • Acadience has been completed- grades are going to be tied to scores for campuses now

  • Watch Dog Pizza Night is on Tuesday at 6pm
  • Parent Teacher Conference book fair is coming
  • Red Ribbon Week: Celebrate Life by Living Drug Free

Review CSIP/ TSSA/ Safety Plan

  • This entire plan discussed is on the website as well:
  • Reading Goal: 88% of students in Kinder will be on benchmark as shown by scores on NWF-CLS; 70% in grades 1-3 will meet typical or above typical growth; and 15% more students in grades 4-5 will score on the advanced or proficient level on Reading Inventory by Spring of 2023 than score on advanced or proficient on Fall 2022 assessment.
    • Action Plan- increase staff trainings, focus on IPLCs, PD, intervention aides, LETRS, Rosetta Stone/ Lexia English for MLs.
  • Math Goal: 80% of K-5 students will be on benchmark as demonstrated by MCOMP or Quantity Discrimination
  • School Climate Goal: 75% of students K-5 will be in the low-risk range of externalizing behaviors by Spring 2023 as measured by the Student Risk Screening Scale (SRSS-IE).

 

Review Budgets

  • We pay for a Behavioral Assistant and Social Worker out of TSSA funds.
  • Reviewed school, TSSA, and Landtrust budgets
  • We can be more flexible with TSSA funds, but Landtrust is specific
