Dear Families,
Welcome back! I hope that you were able to rest and spend time with loved ones over the break. This is a time that we take to think about things we are grateful for. Our school, the students, the staff, and our community here at Altara is something we are always so thankful for!
Attendance
Did you know that school attendance is important because it provides students the opportunity to gain knowledge and develop important skills that will help them succeed in life? When students attend school regularly, they are more likely to stay on track with their studies, complete assignments, and participate in extracurricular activities.
Assembly
This week our students will get to experience an assembly from the Alta High Madrigals! We are so excited to see them and give our students the opportunity to witness a choir and maybe spark some interest in something they can look forward to in their educational journey.
STEAM Squad
Canyons STEAM Studio is an innovative educational establishment designed to provide students in grades with an immersive environment to explore and engage in a wide array of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) opportunities. It serves as a hub where young minds can discover, experiment, and learn through hands-on experiences, fostering creativity and critical thinking skills. Altara’s Fall STEAM Squad is underway, but a new application for the Spring STEAM Squad will be out soon!
