Dear Families,
Welcome back to school after winter break! We are glad to have students and staff back at Altara and starting a new calendar year. I hope your holidays were wonderful!
No Student Day on Jan. 12th
We have a no student day coming up next week on Friday, January 12th. The teachers will be in the building planning and preparing, but it is a no student day. The following Monday is the holiday Martin Luther King Day, so families will have a 4-day weekend. Thursday, Jan. 11th will be a regular school day with dismissal at 3:05.
Emergency Drill
Each month we practice a safety drill so we are prepared in the event of an emergency. We’ll be practicing our Fire Drill next Tuesday and evacuate our building.
