Dear Families,
It is our last full week of school before winter break! Remember we still have two days of school next week. We are looking forward to our Altara Choir students putting on their Holiday Concert this week. We hope that parents and families are able to join in this fun presentation tomorrow evening.
Vacation Release Forms
Vacation Release Forms need to be filled out and submitted to the office at least 1 week prior to the last day in attendance before vacation. Teachers need at least one week to gather homework for the time missed. Always return the form to the office and it will be passed along to the teacher.
Winter Clothing Drive
This season, Altara plans to make a difference by participating in our annual Winter Clothing Drive event. Donate new clothes to help members of our community stay warm during the cold winter months! Scarves, gloves, boots, and coats can be donated to Altara by December 18th. We appreciate your support with this!
Remote Learning Days
A reminder that as the temperature is dropping and snow is in the forecast, there is a potential for remote learning days. This is a decision made by Canyons School District, but will be implemented in all schools. If there is a remote learning day, students and families will be notified via email, phone call, and ParentSquare. Teachers will be available via email, ParentSquare, Zoom, Google or Meet on remote learning days.
