  1. Budget

Budget still on track for 2015-1016 school year. Will move some money from landtrust teachers hrly to registration. Money that has been spent in registration was used for professional development. Budget is still ready to have zero or very little carry-over. Substitutes for Ames and Harris to attend their conference was used out of landtrust.

  1. Teacher of the Year

Teacher of the Year forms have been reviewed and given to each separate area for review. After careful consideration it will be presented to Heather Sullivan to be Altara’s Teacher of the Year. Magann and PTA will present it soon. Canyons District teacher of the year will be announced April 22nd.

  1. CSIP/Landtrust

Went over Continuous School Improvement Plan for all students to be college and career ready.

Literacy– By the Spring of 2017, 90% of students in Kindergarten will be on benchmark as shown by scores on PSF, 80% of students in grades 1-2 will be on benchmark as shown by scores on DORF Fluency and 10% more students in grades 3-5 will score on the advanced or proficient level on SRI (fluency) by the Spring of 2017 than score on advances or proficient levels on the Fall 1015 assessment; and 60% of 3rd, 4th, and 5thgrade students will improve their scores by at least 100 points between Fall and Spring.

Budget will be for 4 aides (one for accelerated) and Teaching Collaboration/PD

STEM– By the Spring of 2017, 90% of our K-2 students will be on benchmark as demonstrated by the MCOMP or MN. 70% of students in grades 3-4 will score in the proficient or highly proficient range on SAGE and 60% of students in grade 5 will score in the proficient or highly proficient range on SAGE.

Budget will be for Teaching Collaboration/PD

PBIS– Reduce off-task behavior in the classroom by 5% as measured by IPOP date from CTESS observations in 2016 to CTESS observations in 2017. Reduce the number of referrals coming from the playground by 25% from Spring 2016 to Spring 2017. Increase ratio of positives/ correctives in all classrooms to at least 4/1 by Spring 2017 CTESS observations.

 

Budgets go towards student and teacher rewards, employee and teacher of month recognitions, PBIS team.

Landtrust School Plan was gone over with same plans as above but eliminating kindergarten goals. Academic Areas, Measurements, Action Plan Steps and Expenditures included in that plan.

Reviewed test score changes in various areas-

Altara 2016 SRI Growth Fall to Winter in 4th and 5th grades was very promising. Ranges from +4% to +30% with an average being +16%

Altara Sage Score Change 2014-2015 3rd grade and higher was also good with growth in every grade/ category but one (5th grade ELA)

Reviewed Dorf, DorfA, DorfR, MCAP, MCOMP, FSF, PSF, NWF, QD, MN for all grades to look at areas for improvement.

Altara CBM Score Change 2014-2015 showed % change went down in Kindergarten in RCBM and MCOMP. RCBM also went down in 2nd grade (by 3%) and 3rdgrade RCBM (by 2%) All other grades showed improvement in both RCBM and MCOMP with some percentages increasing by as much as 15% (RCBM in 4th grade)
