Faculty Spotlight – Ms. Young

This will be my 23rd year teaching and my 17th year at Altara Elementary. This is my first year teaching Kindergarten at Altara. I grew up in Sandy. I went to Midvalley Elementary, Union Middle School and Hillcrest High School. (All of my childhood schools have been rebuilt!) I graduated from Utah State and got a Masters Degree In Reading Education from Grand Canyon University. I have two cats named Frankie and Finn. I love playing games and reading books.
