Hello! My name is Mrs. Sierer or Mrs. “Siri” as some students call me! I am the Technology teacher at Altara. This will be my eighth year teaching at Altara. Three of my four children went to Altara, so it feels like home. We have lived in Sandy for 24 years and we love it! I grew up in Sugarhouse and went to Highland High School, where my husband is now a teacher. I have one son that is an RN at the University Hospital and another that is a student at BYU. I have one daughter who is a senior at Alta and another that is in 7th grade at Indian Hills Middle School. They are my greatest accomplishments! I enjoy spending time with my family, playing in our beautiful mountains, kayaking, camping, and traveling. I am also a crossing guard for Sandy City and try really hard to keep your kids safe at the four-way intersection by Alta High. I love the students at Altara and I am grateful to be a part of this community.
