Winter snow storms that have dodged the Wasatch Front so far this season have zig-zagged into the Salt Lake Valley. A winter storm warning is in effect until 5 p.m. Wednesday, and forecasters are predicting 6 to 12 inches of snow with higher totals on the east benches.
To be sure, this could make tomorrow morning’s bus rides to school quite treacherous. Parents driving their kiddos to schools also may have a hard time even leaving their driveways, especially if the snowplows can’t keep up with the snowfall.
If the district determines that the road are too dangerous, they will send a skylert in the morning about a delayed start or a virtual day of learning. They will also post it on the district Facebook page. After we get confirmation, we will post it as well. Be safe and warm!
