Notes:

  • The next meetings are scheduled tentatively for the second Wed. of the month with exceptions for holidays. Meetings are planned for Nov. 13th, Jan. 8th, Feb. 12th, Mar. 12th, and Apr. 9th.
  • SCC election results: New members include Jill Larsen and Margaret Good
  • The chair is Brad Hicken: all agree.
  • Vice chair is Lori Reynolds: all agree.
  • There is a link to online training to be completed by all SCC members.
  • Land Trust plan: Goal 1 is the CBM oral fluency goal which is an increase in reading fluency by 5%.
  • Achieving this goal will include integrating the language arts common core and Reading Street Basal Reader through professional development.
  • There will be funds allocated to interventions (mostly reading) for at risk children in K and 4-5th. Much of this work will be done by aids.
  • There will be $9000 allocated for teacher collaboration to analyze data and work outside of their regular contract time for language arts planning and coaching.
  • Approximately $1000 is planned to be used for writing professional development (6 traits coaching for teachers).
  • Goal 2: The CRT averages were 18.3/30 last year and the goal is 22/30 for this year.
  • Clothing guidelines: Principal Magann included a reminder about district clothing guidelines in

the Oct. newsletter.

  • Goal 3: The CBM Math Computation Goal is for each grade level to increase the percentage of

students achieving the benchmarks by 5%.

  • Budget: Any funds above what were planned will be used to pay for an aide to help at risk

students in K and 4-5. All agree.
