Dear Families,
With the cold, rainy weather we want to remind students to wear clothing appropriate for the weather. We are still planning on the field trips this week to Camp Tracy on Tuesday and Wednesday. They will plan some alternate activities there if the students can’t be outside, but please send them with colder weather gear.
Teacher Appreciation Week
I want to give a shout out to our awesome teachers here at Altara! It’s Teacher Appreciation week this week, and I want to let our teachers know how much I appreciate their efforts. They put in so much time on behalf of their students and care deeply about their success. We have an amazing group of teachers and support staff at Altara!
Thank you for helping us show love to our teachers and staff during
Teacher Appreciation Week!
Library News
All library books are due to be turned in this Friday, May 10th. Next week, emails will begin going out for late or lost books your student has checked out. If you have turned books in or cannot find them, please let us know so we can do a further search.
Kindergarten Enrollment
We want to ensure we have accounted for all kindergarten students in our community for next school year. Please reach out to any neighbors who may have a child turning 5 years old by September 1st. Altara will have full day and half day options for kindergarten. If you are interested in a half day option for your child, please be sure to contact the school.
