Miss Fielding’s Monday Minutes – September 25, 2023

Dear Parents,

Parent teacher conferences are this week.  Thank you for prioritizing the time to meet with your child’s teacher.  There will be no school on Friday, and Thursday will be an early out day, with dismissal at 1:25.  Please mark your calendars to pick up your child early this Thursday.  Don’t forget to visit the PTA Book Fair this week!  See the attached flyer.

Parent Volunteers

Each year parents must fill out the volunteer application on the district website if they want to volunteer in the classroom or help with class parties or fieldtrips.  This process must be done each year, even if you have already completed it in the past.  It takes a couple of days for the application to be processed.  Please fill out that application now if you think you might be helping with the Halloween party or an upcoming field trip.  The link is included below.

Boo to the Flu Clinic

As a convenience to our community, there will be nurses here administering the flu shot during parent teacher conferences to those who would like to participate.  It will be located in the gym on Wednesday from 3:30-7:00 and on Thursday from 3:30-6:30.

Digital Citizenship

Our district is committed to teaching students good citizenship, including digital citizenship!  See the attached flyer for information about our district’s safety lessons and filtering systems in the various grade levels.
